Hello, I have just found a clutch of dbt eggs near one of my shore houses. I purchased a Hova-bator to incubate them and I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with dbt eggs in a Hova-bator. Some people may think I’m too young to incubate turtle eggs (Im 14) but I feel that i am perfectly capable to do this. I plan to go to school for Herpetology and I think it would be the coolest thing to incubate successfully a clutch of dbt eggs. I was planning on putting the eggs in a 3:1 ratio of perlite and water in a Gladware container with a lid. I also bought a digital thermometer/hydrometer to put in the Hova-bator. Does anyone know of a really good website for terrapin incubating. I think i’ve already been to everyone. Also, does anyone know what humidity i should keep the eggs at and how i can increase the humidity in the incubator? I am clueless about humidity. I am very excited about hatching the eggs and would like a successful success rate. Please get back to me a.s.a.p because i would really like to get these eggs into the incubator. Thank you very much. My email is trurunner1986@… so if you could e-mail I’d appreciate it.
