I have seen sternotherus minor in 10 feet of water. I seldom find diamondbacks in more than 18inches. I have kept these 2 species together for years without problems. I will note that if your water is strongly salty then Kinosternids don’t fair as well ususally. I would also not recommend keeping a musk with dbts or any other turtle when the musk is largest dog.
