Bob, I can’t believe they won’t bask. Even my very tinest one loves to bask. If I can get a picture of the little ones basking I’ll post it. How far away is your lite? In my tank setup for the yearlings the basking lite is about 7-8″ away from there cork. In the baby setup I have a flourescent lite that is about 4″ away from their brick. They each try to be the one on the top of the pile. I’m sure that they will start eating soon. How long has it been since you switched them? I get trout chow from feed stores. You can buy it by the pound there. Good luck, Vickie
