Interesting how quickly they do it. Most of my other species take much longer. Also, that they weren’t’t afraid of us. Most of my others won’t come up and dig a hole if I’m there. Most will lay after a certain point – they get this glazed look on their faces. Though I have many turtles that will stop at any point and go crashing back into the pond if they see me. -Rick Rick, One of my females crawled up the ramp to her small land area that has a small bush enclosed (18″x24″ maybe). She went under the bush to a spot that the sun was beating down on and it was hot and dug in damp soil (I had flooded the container earlier in the day).
