Hi, I’m Vickie the group owner. I have hatched several dbts in a Hovabator. I use a 1:1 mixture of perlite and water by weight. I bury the eggs half way in one of the new Zip lock or Glad storage containers you can buy at the store (you can see through the lids). I poke a few tiny holes in the lid. I add water to the 2 indented areas in the Hovabator bottom that are there for that purpose. I incubate at 86 degrees when I want to hatch females. I think 82-84 degrees will get you males. It takes approximately 56-58 days in my incubators for the eggs to hatch but it can vary. Good luck, Vickie
