Be sure you check out Big Al’s on line store. He has Auquaclear 300’s for $17.99! I’ve price checked a lot of different items out there, and he’s the cheapest on everything so far. He has submersible heaters for around $15, I think. I use a cannister filter myself. (Fluval 404…$90 at Big Al’s) This eliminates the waterfall sounds you get from a power filter. My tanks are in my living room, so I like them pretty quiet.
