Ro, Why are you only putting 7 inches of water into the tanks? I use the 300 aquaclear on all of my indoor tanks. I think it is 22.99 on thatpetplace.com I don’t know a lot about heater but if you are going to have 55 gallons I think you need at least a 200W submergable heater. Everything else sounds good.
