Art, Funny that you should mention that. I put some Wardley’s sinking shrimp pellets in the feeding tank last night as an experiment and some were eaten. Maybe having food that doesn’t float will give them another option. The pellets are small and hard so the DBT has to peck at it a few times to get it in its mouth. Also, I finally got a 50lb bag of Aquamax Grower 500 (trout chow) last Friday that I had special ordered from a local feed store ($24.95 plus tax) and for the first time I noticed that a few of those pellets were eaten. They skipped the Reptomin altogether. But, I’m now more encouraged with the eating problem. It seems like the same big DBT is doing most of the eating and not a lot is being eaten – but things appear to be going in the right direction now. About the mollies, at my local pet store last night the only mollies they had were black mollies at $2.00 apiece. That’s a bit pricey for a DBT snack! They are beautiful fish though and would look nice in the aquarium. The pet store clerk suggested guppies for brackish. So, I bought some. I noticed that since last night the DBT’s had not eaten any of the five guppies that I put in the aquarium. I think that the guppies are too small and way too fast for the DBT’s. But time will tell. Thanks, Bob
