Hello….My name is Matt Almost 2 months ago my kids and I found a Terrapin laying eggs in an unsafe place near my Moms house in South Jersey. We removed the eggs when she was done and carefully buried them in a bucket, using the soil they were already buried in. We were told not to move the bucket at all. Have we done the right thing. Also, if they hatch, I would like to keep them, is this legal? We already have Painters and Mud turtles.
