She’s still alive though somewhat limp. Her room is now up to 80 but she doesn’t have the energy to move or get up and walk away. I check on her every hour (except at night to make sure she’s not too hot). I have one of my gardening heat mats under her (there’s a grate on top of it so the rubbermaid box is 2 inches above the mat). I put her in water several times and the first time she oculd barely lift her head, the second time, she kicked a little–a positive sign or maybe wishful thinking. I’m either getting used to her limp look or the baytril is working. i was reading Chun’s site and it definitely sounds like pneumonia. I’ll call the vet on Monday and see if perhaps she can get some gentamcin instead of baytril. How much gentamicin does a 3 lb turtle need? The vet doesn’t know. Thanks!
