Candace, I think all babies grow at different rates. My last baby to hatch this year is a few days older than 2 months and in 2 1/4″. All of my babies seem to grow pretty fast so I’m not sure what the normal might be. I feed mine Reptomin and give them calcium blocks to chew on. Vickie
