Hello Everyone, As a new member let me tell you a bit about my self. I live in South Florida and work as a photo lab technician, I also run my own company DSphotographics which specializes in fashion and portrait photography but I also do a lot of reptile and fine art photos also. I maintain a small group of select DBT’s as well as other Herps. My interest in these turtles began in the early 90’s when they were readily available. I started with a hatchling Carolina Terrapin and quickly found them a very interesting a personable species. I now maintain Ornate, Carolina, Eastern and Northern Terrapins. (April 1996)Florida now requires special permits to maintain these animals so it been hard getting permission to expand or breed animals in my collection.
