Mine just slowly lost weight, “withered”, and died. In hindsight, the bulk of the food I offered them was pellets. The people who seem to be successfully keeping wildcaughts alive feed a diet of fish, crab, and shrimp, is what I’ve been told. I really don’t know much about it, so am interested in any and all info, successful and not. My understanding is also that of the large numbers that used to be collected and sold, virtually most or all did not survive? I remember visiting dealers (in Florida) years ago and seeing large numbers (of exquisite dbts) in tanks and being shipped out. I never heard of anyone successfully keeping them alive until the last few years. It is so exciting seeing the successes people are having with this species.
