Salt for Brackish water to Ocean for Diamondbacks.

Hi new here. Wanted to know what kind of salt doe people use when making your water brackish to ocean? I have used TropicMarin. And any other tips. Thank you.

Hi and welcome! In the past I’ve used Instant Ocean but it gets expensive, so now I use Morton Pool Salt…. the “Professional’s Choice Quicker Dissolve” kind. I get it at Home Depot for about $10 for a 40 lb bag. Lots of keepers use water softener salt but I find the bigger crystals take a lot longer to dissolve. The pool salt is very fine and dissolves very quickly which helps me get a more accurate reading sooner. 🙂
