hiding places

Sarah, I have never given much thought to a hiding place for my DBTs. The adults that live outside do however tend to stay under their floating piece of cork that I have in their tub for them to bask on. You have to be careful about what you use such as building a cave out of rocks. DBTs are so active that they can knock the rocks down on themselves and they could drown. I’m not sure they really need a hiding place. I have found that they are generally not that shy so they probably wouldn’t stress without one. When I set up my juvenile tank I will put a piece of cork in that also so they will probably stay under it will they sleep. Any other members have any ideas about hiding places for DBTs? Vickie
