My DBTs want to “dine in” all the time!!

I’ve got some stubborn DBTs! I thought they had stopped eating and were sick when I moved them into a bigger 90 tank. They just wouldn’t eat in their old feeding tank anymore. This went on for several weeks. They just chase their reflection in the feeding tank and skip the food. But, come to find out, if I feed them the Reptomin in their new 90 gal tank they eat it eagerly. I hate doing this because it fouls up the aquarium big time everyday. If I try and hold out and put them daily in the feeding tank then I am just miserable not seeing my turtles eating for several weeks. The water temp in the feeding tank is the same as in the 90 gal. But, now the 90 gal is in a different room than the feeding tank. Maybe I need the feeding tank in the same room as the 90 gal so that the environment is the same? – Trying to think like a turtle is hard 🙂 What’s a mother to do? Bob
