Why we are here……..

Hi all, I just wanted to remind all of our members that this group is dedicated to furthering the captive raised DBT population by breeding not collecting from the wild. I don’t think anyone has really said that they wanted to go and catch some wild DBTs just that they would really enjoy seeing them in there natural habitat. I would be interested to know how many people on this list have breeding groups or pairs of DBTS. I think some people would be interested in trading or selling captive bred babies so that each group can have as diverse a breeding base as possible. Hopefully each person will try to keep there dbt type as pure as possible by not knowingly mixing say Centratas with Macrospilotas. Right now I have 17 Macrospilotas of various ages. 3 adult females and 3 adult males none of which are related. 3 other males might be big enough to breed. Sizewise they are. Let me know what you all think. We could keep a blood line record in our files and the persons with successful breeding experience can help with info on incubating and whatever else might be needed.
