Acriflavin treatment (Was Re: Mouth Rot)

I would like to add some clarity from my persective for the acriflavine treatments. I think Jonathan is using a crystalline mix of acriflavine and NaCl. Pure acriflavine can be dangerous in this high concentration. Of the actual ACTIVE medication, you would want about 10ppm or 10mg/L of water for a soak bath. Or less than 1ppm for a few days in the housing water. Acriflavine is affective against many common fungi and bacteria but many have also become resistent. So get your labels and calculators out for a little conversion factoring so you may be comparing apples to apples, and not macros to centratas. You don’t want to take four tylenol not knowing if they are 250mg caplets or 1000mg caplets, do you? 🙂 Since acriflavine is so readily available and popular maybe it should be added to the list.
