Hey all! Next week I’ll be heading back to Cleveland to visit the family. They always haul me over to the Chinese grocery, where last year at this time, I acquired our Northern for about $10. I don’t know if they’ll have any this time, but does anyone want me to look out for a turtle for them? Last year, there must have been at least 5 other dbts in that box. I’m hoping to find a male DBT but I doubt that male dbts are big enough for what the market demands. BTW Bob, that is areally nice looking turtle! Rowena
Rowena, Thanks….I am very pleased with my new male DBT. I put him in the tank with my 3 females who have never seen a male before. He had never seen females before. The females were scared at first. The male was just happy to be there. Now the females have settled down to ignoring him despite his chasing them all over the place. I hope that you have success in finding a male too. Keep everyone posted on the market situation. Bob
