J.C. If Don said it was a Northern I would not argue with him. It is too hard to tell what they are when they are that small. Really in my opinion Northerns and Centratas are basically the same turtle. Unless you know where they came from when they were taken out of the wild or if they have very distinct features, there is no way of telling them a part. I am luckily enough to be able to trace most of my terrapins to where they can from, i.e. the exact state. Unless you are planning on breeding yours I wouldn’t even sweat it. You have very nice looking terrapins and don’t think most collectors would care where they were from. 🙂 Good luck with your new hatchling.
