I put oyster shells and rocks as substrate in my tanks. One large female I received from a nature park had a large overbite and the park spent hundreds having their veterinarian sand it down ever so often and even then the female had a significant overbite. After having her for less than a month her overbite was gone as she wore it down on the oyster shells – a nice natural looking substrate too. Christopher
