Hi Abby I run the Program in Maryland. Did you get my note regarding captive breeding in Maryland? Any further information on the Animal Adventures program? The Public television station did a segment on our program – The Shell Game. All are invited to Terrapin Day May 11, 2002 12 to 4 at the USNA Greenbury Point Nature Center in Annapolis. Governor may be there with an announcement about our conservation program in cooperation with the University. mw —–Original Message—– From: diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ something left in the section. milk crate to bask on went over not so well. At the moment there is a piece of wood floating around in there but they never go on it. built a basking site from plexi glass and have it attached to the tank with aquarium sealent about 3/4 of the way up. Attached to this is a ramp so the dbt's have easy access. This is also attached to the tank. This way you can fill the tank up pretty high and they have lots of room to swim. I also use a bio wheel filter and it works fine. One problem tho, the water splashing into the tank is LOUD. My solution is a mini waterfall built with plexi and slate, it looks nice and the water running is hardly noticeable. is heated by a heating pad under the tank. I keep a 100 watt basking light on the basking spot from sun up till sundown and it keeps that area at about 84 degrees. I shut it off at night. My terps will bask most of the day and really enjoy it. were originally for food but were adopted by the terps. They keep the tank cleaner by eating scraps of food and such. I only have to change the water every 3-4 weeks. so room for growth. Also, get it used to living with fish. Some feeder goldfish are good for eating food scraps. I have 3 "feeder" goldfish that are growing HUGE, 5 rosies, 1 Betta, 1 Golden Algae Eater, and 1 Black Pleco. whether or not you can find a good sale. was 1 hour or 1/2 hour. If it was 1/2 hour, it was right at the beginning. If 1 hour, then right in the middle... back. http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ <http://rd.yahoo.com/M=194081.1994012.3473453.1261774/D=egroupweb/S=17050428 80:HM/A=1036972/R=0/*http://www.ediets.com/start.cfm?code=3466 <http://us.adserver.yahoo.com/l?M=194081.1994012.3473453.1261774/D=egroupmai l/S=1705042880:HM/A=1036972/rand=118531744 <http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ turtles.
