i just wanted to know how much salt i should put per gallon of water. i know some of you keep your turtles in fresh water, but i was told that could lead to ulcers. also, after mixing the salt with the water and putting it in the tank i noticed some small films on the surface of the water after an hour or two. does salt water always do this? i am using a very good salt mix so it isn’t to blame. what could lead to this? or is it not a concern?
