I have been feeding reptomin and nutrfin , the rear of the shell is slightly flexable , I know on small turtles this may be normal, I do feel the need possibly for supplement , I have many other turtles , different types , same size and there shells are firmer at the rear , let me know what you think , the rest of the shell is firm , and it is not deformed , I just don’t want it to become a problem , by the way I just joined this forum . After feeding Reptomin for years to oodles of baby turtles and many varities, I found that many turtles will grow just fine on it, but many others develop softshell and die – a strong indication that it does not supply all of their needs. Also, the left-overs made the most disgusting stinky gray sludge that clogged my filters. I switched to Zoomed hatchling diet when it became available. I’m much happier with the results. I even threw away 2 of the giant boxes of Reptomin. I feed Aquamax carnivorous fish diet (I’ve used this for over 20 years) after they get a little size. -Rick catnine90 wrote:
