There is a pic of a male box turtle on the Turtle Homes site that might help you identify if that is what you’re seeing. I knew that penis picture would come in handy someday! actually a prolapse will stay out for a longer period of time then a simple flashing. If thyey are flashing ( it) will go back in within a few minutes. a prolpase will stay out and need medical attension. Amanda
