Tom & Sharon PaquetteSeptember 28, 2002 at 10:31 pm #17793I find those same worms in a well seasoned pond filter & know a friend who has the same thing. I was told they are a “good thing” Hope someone out there knows what they are. Any possibility that they are a “tube-a-flex” worm?? And if so wouldn’t that be a good thing? Or not? Look forward to someone answering your question! Sharon jkfactor wrote:

Stephen ChewSeptember 28, 2002 at 11:05 pm #17796If you guys are finding red mosquito larva-looking worms in your filter material, then don’t worry. Those are bloodworms and a type of fly larvae (not the common house fly). Yummy eating for fish or hatchlings. Cheers. -Chun — In diamondbackterrapins@y…, Tom & Sharon Paquette
