I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Does the vet know what is causing this??? What did s/he say about the vitamin deficiency? And what is the cause for Baytril? Do they have a bacterial infection??? From what I understand freezing will cause vitamins to disintegrate, but to what degree, I do not know. I would not think it would be enough to cause any major problems. However, I would recommened switching to Reptomin and then supplementing with a cuttle bone, fish that have been quaratined for parasites, and collard greens or anachris if you can get them to eat it to help supplement vitamins. You can also buy powder to sprinkle on their regular favorite foods to be sure they are getting the nurtients they need. I can never go wrong with freeze dried shrimp covered with vitamins. How are the others doing? How is the one with the paralysis???
