Can anyone tell me how long the egg tooth remains on baby DB’s? Does anyone have any suggestions on getting babys to feed. I have tried Reptomin,Zoomed hatchling pellets, frozen blood worms (thawed) and live black worms. The babys still will not eat. These guys are pretty small. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder – Free, easy-to-use web site design software http://sitebuilder.yahoo.com

I use baby koi food, the teeny tiny floating pellet size. Sometimes my babies have started eating right out of the egg but it is more common when not feeding live food that it can take about 1 1/2 weeks after hatching to start eating. They are still living off their yolk sacs during that time. The eggs tooth can take 2-3 weeks to fall off. Vickie
