Hi everyone, I have purchased my tuurtle setup in advance and spent over $2000, the only problem is I can’t find hatchling terrapins!!!!!! I am on miss Vickies waiting list for 1 ornate but I want 1 concentric centrrata and 1 northern as well(rare northern pref. with white skin). If anyone out there can help me please do here is what my setup looks like………….besides turtleless. 200 gal 80″x24″x24″ filstar XP3 and Eheim Pro II 2028 2 Ebo-Jager 250 watt heaters Back To Nature Amazonas 200cm X 60cm T-rex 150 Watt UV Spot T-rex 250 Watt UV Flood Turtle Dock on both basking and cool side of aquarium Please help my enclosure is lonely, Isaac
Hi, It is just a matter of time before there will be plenty of hatchlings available from many breeders on this self-same e-group and elsewhere. It is egg-laying season and in a few months there should plenty of terrapins ready to sell. I should have plenty of Texas DBTs. I have a ton of terrapin eggs incubating right now and a bunch of gravid females. I hope to get some photos of my terrapins and ponds posted on the web very soon. By the way, your set-up sounds like it should be excellent and quite a nice display. I hope you will post photos of it when you get a chance. ,Jason plagueguitarist
