Thanks Jonathan, but in addition to the fungus, I think I have another problem now too, last night before I went to sleep I took a look in the tank and noticed the northern swimming around, when he swam he looked fine, however when he was under water and stuck his nose up to breath his throat got really big and looked lumpy, I’ve read that this happens some times with a respiratory infection. Is this true, what does this sound like to you guys? Any home remedy or do I need a vet visit? Also what are the chances of survival for a 4 week old with a skin fungus and R.I. ? Certainly I want him to live, but if I’m just postponing the inevitable I don’t want to spend a hundred bucks on a vet. However if I CAN make him well money is not an issue. Also for the skin fungus, how do I use Acriflavin? finally how long should it take for the skin fungus to heal? Will it leave any permanent marks? Thank you soo much, I’d be lost with out you guys D.
