Jim, I sure hope you do get to see some in the wild . Someday I hope to have the opportunity myself. Here’s a link you may find interesting. It’s to a study that was done on South Deer Island in Galveston Bay back in ’01& ’02. You’ll need Adobe to view it. Interesting info and a couple of nice pics. http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2003/ofr03-022/pdf/03-022.pdf It also mentions another survey that was done near Corpus Christi, in Nueces Bay & at the mouth of the Nueces River back in ’97. They apparently captured a little over a hundred Littoralis in this study.
