What should I feed him? ive been feeding Zoo-med hatchling formula pellets. and some dryed krill. should i get live food? ive read he should eat bloodworms and brine shrimp? what about vegys? how deep should his water be?. i have a 10 gal tank. should he have a heater in the water. it gets cold her at night but i keep his warming ceramic bulb on his rock. is that good enough? he came from my canal so i was wondering if he should be in salt water? i feed twice a day.ive been reading i should let the little guy back into the wild , i am telling you he will be eatten by birds. there are tons and tons of sea birds here. they flock everywhere and the racoons are all over too. he wont stand a chance. i would love to keep him., i actually tried to find another. i didnt know where to look and they are prob. all in the water by now. i found him about a week ago. anyway my questions is, ive read DBT are very hard to keep in captivity and they will not survive. something about the ph of the water. what is your opinion? i just love the little fellow but i dont want him to perish. ive been reading that i should get crushed coral. i have a zoo med turtle bone that he hasnt touched..(hes too small)…what about vitamin A. do you suggest a UV sterilizer? live plants? should i get him a friend or is it ok for him to be alone? thanks
