does anyone know when my levels will be dropping in my 4 week old new set up? i have a 40 gal breeder brackish set up and i am doing 20-30% water changes biweekly. i am testing the water daily and just now i am seeing spikes in nitrite and nitrate. ive had ammonia since the beginning. now what? is this harming my turt? i am scared. he seems ok. but i want to do more water changes and the petstore man said dont. ammonia is at 1.0
