    I just had a water softener installed, I didn’t figure it would affect my turtle at all, but just wanted to check before I put any in his tank. Anyone know of any possible problems? I’m hoping for a cleaner looking tank with no deposit build-up, ha ha!

    Hi, I have been using water softerns for over 5 years. I have used the kind you add salt too and the canister type that is replaced monthly by a service. Both have done a good job of keeping most of the white film off of my tanks. I have never had any issues with my turtles because of it.
