hatchling-white spots on shell

I have a hatchling Concentric – about 1.5 in. who has had two whitish spots on his shell for several weeks now. I looked at them through a magnifying glass and they appear to be little convex areas like ‘chips’ in the shell surface. Both spots are smaller than 1/8 in. and you can see the continuation of the shell pattern within them. Should I be concerned? Thanks for any advice.
