OT- but Herp related. Help needed.

Greetings- Being a mostly bird person with a few turtles, I’m not really plugged into the Herp. community as I am with Birds. But I’m working with a small group- and we’re in need of finding a specific kind of person who we’d be able to contact. The person would have to be a recognized Herpetoligical expert, would have to be knowledgeable about snakes most specifically and recognized as having that knowledge. AND, be someone in Florida. Also be someone who is not an “Animal Rights” kinda person too. lol If anyone here might have any kind of a contact person matching that description. Helping me get in touch with them, an email or phone number, would be incredibly helpful. I just really don’t know anyone in the herp world though. So any help is greatly needed, and would be greatly appreciated. This is one of the few Herp groups of anykind I’m in, and I believe some of you may have Florida connections maybe, so I thought why not turn the rock over and ask.
