Biting…..

I don’t know what to do… I have two dbts that are starting to bite one another. Both are about 3 inches and has lived together since I got them about 4 months ago. I purposely got both of them when they were babies so that they would get along as a pair. I can’t tell if they are males are females yet. I could seperate them but I want them to reside in the same tank, and space is an issue. Can someone please tell me how to stop them from biting each other? Thanx in advance for any help, Mark
what size is their tank? are you feeding them in the tank? do the mainly bite at each other when food is present? michaela
