Hi all, Wanted to revisit previous discussions on shell haze and get everyone’s opinions on it. You know, the silvery discoloration on the shells that obscure the concentric patterning. I’ve heard different arguments regarding the cause, as well as predisposition to this condition: ranging from mineral deposits, fungal infection, to chlorine burn. Some have said that there is a genetic predispositioning that makes some individuals susceptible and others not. Thoughts, opinions? Stephen Chew Tail Moderator
