I have a question about size. When I read about terrapin care the distinctions between hatchlings/juveniles/adults seems to be based on size more than absolute age. When you refer to 3 or 4 inches, does that refer to the shell size? or head to toe? They can stretch their heads pretty far. Mine are only 3 months old, but I want to be able to know when to think about changing things like feeding habits, brackish water etc. Thanks. Sean
Hey Sean, – I think I remember that you are new to the group? – Well welcome if this is so.. but if not then.. welcome anyways!! Everyone can always use a warm welcoming sometime! Anyways I think that people are reffering to shell size not shell and limbs. I could be mistaken on this, someone please correct me if I am- Do you keep your turtles in brackish water right now? just curious- —Heather — cogmob
