Reward for Thai Villager with “Conservation Mind-set”

The Terrapin Institute would like to reward the Thai villager who salvaged the river terrapin in Phang Nga earlier this month. We will contact the Thai authorities, but I thought I would run this offer by the groups in case anyone has further information about the conservation minded individual and would like to follow up with additional rewards. This case seems authentic and we want to be careful not to encourage other trappings of terrapins from the wild. However, we also want to make conservation pay for local villagers.
