Average size for Adult Females?

OK, Now I’m CONFUSED!!! When I got my Female DBT, I was planning on her reaching 9 inches as an Adult. She has already hit the 5 inch mark at just a year and half (with a little pyramiding), so I guess I screwed up a little bit and was over-feeding that first year……….I know, I know……..classic, stupid, rookie mistake, but she was my FIRST Diamondback, and I just couldn’t help myself. I am trying to make amends now, and trying to do the “right thing” and do what’s best for the health of the turtle! Anyway, getting back to my original point, Steve has what I’m considering are “Monster” Females at 10 to 12 inches! Are these adult girls normal or average? Or are the a little bigger than normal?
