My female just laid her first clutch . Now the question is when should I expect more to be laid ? She had 8 eggs and they are now incubated ,I am not sure how lomg before I should expext them to hatch so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks -Lou
Hi Lou…depending on the temperatures it should take anywhere between 45 -55 days to hatch them. If you want females keep the Temperature up between 84-85 degrees and around 82 for males. Temperatures between 82-84 should give you a mixture of males and females. As far as other clutches …your next clutch should be between 3-4 weeks away. In a good year a female will lay 2-3 clutches. Hope this helps, Regards, Rich Hollander
