At what age should female northern diamondbacks start to lay eggs?

Thanks for your feedback. My turtle is getting close to the 5 year mark. She is alone in her tank. What should we do when she does start laying eggs? Do we just clean them out of the tank? Here’s some pictures of her for you to enjoy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13502655@N00/260560262/in/set-72157594312678292/Thanks for your feedback!Caryn—– Original Message —-From: Steve diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.comSent: Wednesday, June 20, 2007 1:27:10 PMSubject: [diamondbackterrapins] Re: Female Northern Diamonbacks --- In diamondbackterrapin s@yahoogroups. com, "casmann24"

I wouldn't concern myself with that at this point. If she does lay just take them out of the water (should she lay in the water) otherwise she will eat them and really mess up the tank. Also just provide her with a laying area so should she develop any eggs it will encourage her to dig and lay them on land. Again I would not worry too much about that unless she actually becomes gravid. Steve

She’s really very lovely, isn’t she. I like her shell especially. Would it be possible to see what your setup for her looks like. I shall have to try to post a photo of our Founder. she has more leopard like markings on her face and is just a year old this past may. jo~See what’s free at AOL.com.
