Hi everybody, my name is mike and I just recieved 3 baby diamonback terrapins. I am housing them in a 40 breeder with tons of plants and some fish that will someday be food for them. I hope to learn as well as share my experiences with these AWESOME turtles. First question, I was under the impression that terrapins don’t spend alot of time on land. Is this true? I thought they were similiar to sea turtles and only came on land to lay eggs. Second question, about how long will it take to be able to sex this trio? They are about an inch and a half right now. Last question, (Sorry about all the questions) I’ve been feeding them repto min baby pellets and pinhead crickets (I’ve only had them since sunday). What other food could I feed them?
