Bricks and terrapins don’t mix. I knbow from experience. Too rough on the shells. A musk probably wouldn’t like the over active actions of a diamondback either. But they are your turtles, you do as you like. I jsut advise against it 😉 The peroxide works like a chram. On severe cases(like you describe) it will take much treatment maybe 2x a day. watch their eyes! john
