In my baby tank I have a flat piece of cork floating freely. I have a spot light centered roughly over the middle of the tank and all of my babies use this constantly. I did show each of them that it was there by setting them on it one by one letting one jump into the water before putting the next one on it. They don’t seem to have any problem boosting themselves up on it. It has worked really well for me. Have you tried setting your babies up in the “proper” basking area so that they know that it is there? Good luck. Vickie
