Scott- Great info and it makes sense. But where do you get your info? From personal research or reading or what? When I was preparing a talk for the Daytona Show (for Turtle Night 2000), I had a hard time finding much of any info on the genetics of color and pattern in turtles. One researcher told me that no one had done any research. Bechtol’s book gives very little info on turtles. I couldn’t even find out why redear sliders have green shells and red ears.
