I too do not have any gravel in my tanks. Because one time I had several turtles come down a shell problem. I kept the turtles in dry buckets for a couple of days. Over the course of those two days each turtle pasted a fair amount of gravel. After that I immediately removed all the gravel from my tanks. Lately I have started thinking about adding crushed coral to my tanks. I know we discussed this topic a couple of month ago. Someone posted that FL crushed coral is good because it is softer than other crushed coral. I am going to give it a shot. Jonathan P.S.
