Some of the map turtles (barbours, alabamas) are getting scarce in the rivers of Florida for this reason. A family can go out in a boat and collect 2 adult females per person, take them home, eat them, and return the next day and do the same thing over again. But it’s illegal to let them reproduce!!! Doesn’t make sense for anybody, especially the turtles. I wish the people in charge made decisions that made sense. Don’t get me started……. -Rick irnbru@… wrote:
