I wanted to reply to this e-mail earlier but didn’t get the time till now. I used latex gloves when dealing with my turtles, all my different type but found that it was a waste of time because they usually got ripped very fast by the turtles claws, and found that they don’t give you that great grip on the feisty turtles. My opinion is wash your hand and wash the well. I have been dealing with turtles for years with no problems other the getting bit a few times. As Chun can tell you. I recently got bit by a large female DBT that took a mouth full of skin with her. Take care Dave
